  • 1. Same Day Cancellation (Less Than 24 Hours Notice)/No Show/Running Late

    When a client requests to reschedule with less than 24-hour notice we will consider that a same day cancellation and will need to charge 100% of the service price. If the client reschedules and are able to be seen within a week we may only keep the deposit for the cancelled appointment.

    Running late: If you are running late for any reason always call. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time you may not be able to be seen and the full cost of the service may be charged.

    2. Failure to Respond or Provide a Reason:

    If a customer fails to respond to our attempts to contact them or does not provide a valid reason for missing their appointment, they will be charged 100% of the cost of service.

    3. Multiple Cancellations:

    In cases where a client cancels appointments more than twice, regardless of the reason, and does not maintain at least four consecutive appointments in between cancellations, they will be charged 100% of the service fee.

    4. Rescheduling:

    When a client requests to reschedule with less than 24-hour notice, the deposit will be retained. However, if the rescheduled appointment is subsequently canceled, the full amount of the rescheduled service will be charged.

    5. Policy Amendment:

    Please note that this policy is subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to our clients accordingly.

  • ~We recommend making your reservation well in advance to ensure the availability of your desired appointment time (Sugaring, Waxing, facials, Massage, Dermaplaning, and Body Treatments).

    ~Credit Card: A credit card or gift certificate number will be required for a 50% deposit towards your service(s). Deposit is fully refundable if rescheduled or cancelled 24 hours before appointment.

    ~All credit/gift card information is stored off-site in our cloud-based booking software, which employs encryption and other security measures.

  • ~We encourage our guests to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before their appointment to allow time to check in, prepare for their treatments, and relax.

  • What are the contraindications to chemical peels or enzymes with acids?

    * Clients who are pregnant or lactating

    * Clients with sun exposure

    * Clients with rosacea

    * Clients on medications or health history issues

    We recommend that clients using prescription retinoids including Retin-A discontinue use 5-7 days prior to treatment. Accutane users must stop using Accutane at least 6 months to one year prior to treatments, doctors’ clearance is highly recommended.

    Lactic Peel:

    20% Lactic Lightening Peel contains lactic acid and is great for hydrating and gently exfoliating the skin. The peel also includes two superb lighteners.

    Glycolic Peel:

    Our 30% Glycolic Peel is an excellent peel for cell renewal, working to dissolve desmosomes that bond cells together to reveal healthier revitalized skin. Designed to target closed comedones as well as aging skin with fine lines.

    * Treats mild to moderate acne

    * Minimizes pore size

    TCA Peel:

    *A Signature Smooth Facial and the appropriate homecare products are required before booking this service.

    The 10% TCA Depigmentation Peel is mild but very effective and delivers lighteners down to the melanocyte without traumatizing the skin. The TCA Peel is buffered with azelaic, arbutin, and kojic acids, which are tyrosinase inhibitors that control hyperpigmentation, melasma, or sun damage for all Fitzpatricks 1 – 6. The combination of these acids is a beautiful peeling treatment for evening skin tone.

    Cranberry Turnover Peel:

    *A Signature Smooth Facial and the appropriate homecare products are required before booking this service.

    The Cranberry Turnover Peel is a powerhouse product that exfoliates and reduces oil with a creamy consistency and 20% salicylic acid cranberry mixture.

    * Resurfaces and refines

    * Removes oil and debris

    * Antioxidant

    * Inhibits inflammation

    * For these skin types: Normal to oily, Acneic, Inflamed and pustular acne

  • ~We accept cash, major credit cards, apple/google pay.

    ~We no longer accept checks.

  • Gift Certificates are stored in our system and do not expire. You must let us know if you want to use your gift certificate at checkout.

    No change is given for the remaining balances.

    Gift cards can be used towards spa services or choose from any products in our Spa Boutique.

  • ~Gratuities are not included in the price of spa treatments but are customarily given to acknowledge good service.

    ~Although entirely discretionary, the typical range is 18-25%.

  • ~Unopened retail items may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase with a receipt.

    ~Opened items purchased within 14 days and 60% full are refundable for store credit only.

  • ~Please be forthcoming with any personal health issues, such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or any other serious condition.

    ~Due to specific health problems, some spa treatments could have severe complications.

    ~First-time guests will be asked to complete an intake form that includes some medical information, our professionals may ask additional questions. Please notify us of any changes to your health or medications.

    ~This information is for your care at Smooth Day Spa and is protected as highly confidential information.

  • ~We ask that you not bring valuables to the spa, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

  • ~For the comfort of others receiving relaxation services, we ask that small children are not left unattended.

    ~If your child is crying or inconsolable, we will need to end the service to keep the environment of the spa relaxing for our other guests. Service will not be refunded.

  • ~For the comfort of others receiving relaxing spa services, please refrain from speaking loudly, watching, or playing on your cell phone while in the spa. Please silence phone during service.
